NIN – Land Use Register of Greenland

The Land Use Register of Greenland – NIN – holds information on the land allotments and buildings in Greenland. Since October 1st 2009 NIN is a integrated part of NunaGIS, which is the WebGIS of the Self Government and the municipalities of Greenland. Through NunaGIS the applicants for area allotments have the ability to perform the application through NunaGIS themselves. This application is further handled online using NunaGIS by the authorities, who produce an area allotment certificate.

Asiaq is in charge of servicing and developing the system as well as securing the data of NIN. Furthermore Asiaq can be inquired for support and training for officers and professional users. Citizen contact is handled by the particular municipality.

Application for area allotment is done through www.nunagis.gl, where an application form can be found for the specific municipality. Case officers can use links at www.nunagis.gl to login for consideration.
