Aerosol and Climate

Aerosol and Climate

In this project funded by the Danish Energy Agency pollutants in the High Arctic and their influence on climate are studied in detail at Villum Research Station (VRS), Station Nord, North Greenland. Aerosols and ancillary climate-relevant atmospheric parameters are monitored concurrently at this site. Well-established quality control routines are applied in order to provide a basis for understanding the complex coupling between global changes in the chemical composition of the atmosphere and climate. The project is carried out in collaboration with Aarhus University.
